Certificate in Agriculture Ondangwa

Tretius here from ATC School of Agriculture.

We intend to run a pilot trial to determine whether it is a good idea to offer a certificate in Agriculture on distance. This is to cater for those interested but due to work they can not attend full time.

Details of the pilot trial:

Minimum requirements:

1. A grade 10 certificate (old curriculum) with a pass in Agriculture, Life Science and English
2. A grade 9 certificate (no curriculum) with a pass in Agriculture, Life Science and English
3. If you do not have a pass in the subject mentioned above, you must have minimum of 1 year work experience in Agriculture or similar.

Pre-requisite

1. A good command of English
2. Access to a computer and internet ( own computer or library is fine too)
3. Commitment and will to learn, this is because you will be required to complete and submit alot of assignments.
Cost:
Even though the pilot distance course is the same as the full time mode, it will be heavily discounted for the first students, however price will be back to same as full time after a completion of the pilot.
The aim is to accelerate it and have a student complete this 7 months course in 4 months or less, so its a pilot for dedicated students.

Student card: N$70.00
Study materials: if soft copy than 240 for all modules, however if you prefer hardcopies, the cost per module will be determined by the printing costs, bidding cost per module.

Exam fee: will depend on where you choose to write ( this fee shall cater for venue, and invigilator cost)

Payment options? Registration fee: N$1500.00 and remaining 2000 shall be paid in two installments (1000 per month for two months) or
Full amount paid upon registration
